JOB OPPORTUNITY: 6-MONTH INTERNSHIP

Our team combines scientific, technical, and financial expertise to make impactful investments and foster growth in the health sector. With our deep understanding of Technology Transfer and market trends, we aim to become a leading player in Europe’s biotech and deep tech industries.
Our investors base includes major institutional investors like the European Investment Fund, Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), Institut Català de Finances (ICF – Catalan Finance Institute), Institut Valencià de Finances (IVF), Barcelona City Council, and a majority of private investors.
We are currently offering two internship tracks:
• Biotech Track: Focused on early-stage investments in healthcare.
• Deep tech Track: Focused on early-stage investments in deep tech companies.
Tasks (in both tracks):
• Scouting for deal flow opportunities.
• Support in deal flow management and attending meetings with prospective companies.
• Participation in deal flow meetings.
• Support in the analysis of investment opportunities both at the scientific and commercial level (market analysis, competitive landscape).
• Preparation of reviews in specific areas of interest.
Qualifications:
- Biotech Track:
- Degree in Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Pharmacy or similar.
- Enrolled in a Master’s, preferably focused on business.
- Knowledge about IP and technology transfer.
- Practical experience using databases such as Pubmed and GlobalData.
- Eager reader of scientific papers.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Deep tech Track:
- Degree in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
- Enrolled in a Master’s, preferably focused on business.
- Interest or experience in AI.
- Eager reader of scientific papers.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Conditions:
• Part-time or full-time position.
• Internship agreement with university (preferably).
• Office located at Passeig de Gràcia, 54, Barcelona.
